Born at the Wedge.
Built for Newport.
It started with a simple observation. Every morning at the Wedge, the same rotation of people — the same surfers, the same photographers, the same dads with their coffee and their dogs — all wearing brands from somewhere else.
Lululemon. Patagonia. Alo. Good brands. Premium brands. But none of them were from here. None of them wore Newport the way Newport actually feels — salt-dried, sun-cracked, beautiful in a way that doesn't need to explain itself.
LOCAL is that brand. Premium apparel — heavyweight tees, structured hats, the crewneck that goes from the water to school pickup — at a price point alongside Alo and Faherty, with an identity that belongs to exactly one place on the coast.
We started with decals because that's how communities spread. A LOCAL sticker on the back of a Tacoma at the Wedge is worth more than any campaign we could run. It says: I'm from here. Not visiting. Not passing through. Local.
Elevated. Not inflated.
We chose our suppliers deliberately. Our tees are heavyweight cotton — not the soft, tissue-thin shirts that look good on a website and fall apart in three washes. Our hats are puff embroidered, structured, the kind you actually want to wear every day.
The price reflects the material and the craftsmanship, not a lifestyle tax. We sit alongside Alo, Lululemon, and Faherty because that's where the quality puts us — not because we're trying to be exclusive.
Everything ships from Los Angeles. Everything is designed here, in Newport Beach. This isn't a drop-ship operation with stock photos. It's a brand built on a specific stretch of coast, by the people who love it.
